Poor Bella...
She is such a trooper.
She has a recurring cough most winters because of her allergies...after a nasty sinus infection it started again on Monday...and DH was to take her to the doctor on Tuesday afternoon when she got out of school.
At lunchtime we got the call...she had a fever and was sent home. So we were off to an earlier appointment...she has the flu!!
She's been a star patient the last three days...but we had to keep her home again today because I just didn't want to chance it with her cough and the weather...plus, it's the flu 
She missed Game day AND Pajama Day...and Pizza Friday...and she only cried today when she realized she wasn't going to school after all. I feel so bad...
We are doing game night tonight, but I wanted to do something cute since she has been cooped up for three-plus days...
any ideas?

How about a stuffed animal wedding? There's cake
We're big on PJ day, playing board games, watching things like Get Smart, Addams Family, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, classic TV shows when we were kids.
With the sinus infection, will she drink soy? I elminate dairy the minute they start sounding congested - soy chocolate milk works wonders.
Ugh, I feel so sorry for her. The flu is awful! Hope she's better soon.

The problem is, it feels like she is always congested. She is permanently on Singulair and intermittently on inhalers and/or antibiotics.
The flu isn't as bad as most people, because she got the shot back in the fall. Lord knows what kind of nastiness it could have been.

What if you guys make homemade pizza tonite too? You can get premade dough either at a local pizzeria or some supermarkets have it.
