I know you need 3 years of full time classroom experience. I'm in my third year of teaching now. HOWEVER

1st year- Leave Replacement (full time) Sept-Feb..then I was hired full time

2nd year- Full year classroom teaching

3rd year- I'm working for the District but in one of the nonpublic schools. I work 25-30 hours per week and get paid per session as an independent consultant.

Does anyone know if the first and third year count?
