spicy food, heartburn, and baby movement
im 20w and im still never 100% sure if what i feel is bouncing around or not.
so today for lunch i ate some spicy noodles. i almost never eat spicy food but a coworker was eating it and it looked yummy so i got it.
it was delicious, but followed by mega heartburn. so i followed the heartburn with 2 pieces of starburst (i know, really great way to medicate ). anyway immediately following this im fairly certain i felt bouncing around A LOT!!
i know the sugar couldve done it but i eat starburst a lot and i dont really feel movement afterwards. is spicy food known to make dance around??

Not sure if there's a connection, but spicy food is all I've been craving lately! I feel the baby move, but not right after I eat my red pepper flake-covered meal.
Do the starbursts help with the heartburn?

the movement started about 30 minutes after i finished eating. wondering if its a coincidence or not since i havent felt much from during the day.
and for some odd reason, the starburst eliminated the heartburn almost entirely!!

Re: spicy food, heartburn, and baby movement
I think I need to get some spicy food. I am 20.5 weeks and still don' think I feel anything. It's been starting to concern me. Although I did have a buffalo chicken sandwich on saturday and didn't feel anything after that. I thought people started feeling it around 16 weeks...hmmm

Re: spicy food, heartburn, and baby movement
20 weeks was around when i knew for sure i felt the baby, and not just the popping/gas bubbles feeling!
spicy foods will def get the baby jumping! yesterday i had some extra spicy chili DH made me and shortly after that baby was kicking like crazy!
i dont know why but cheese its make my baby go nuts too!
its soo great cuz everday i feel the baby a little more, and a little stronger! its soo amazing!
