Outgrowing Snap and Go :(
so my girls are outgrowing the snap and go that i cant really steer it anymore b/c they are getting so heavy so i will be moving onto the a side by side stroller. Im worried about using it when i have to go to stores and stuff getting them out of the carseats and into teh stroller. So how do you manage getting the babies out and into the stroller in a parking lot? is it hard to do? do you have to park far away so you dont have to worry about getting into car easily?

Re: Outgrowing Snap and Go :(
my boys are 10 months, they have been out of the snap and go since they were 6 months. i honestly hate taking them in and out of the carseats. i think the weather plays a big part of it though. because its SO cold and it is a process.
but as far as the parking, i always leave a spot empty on both sides so i have room.

Re: Outgrowing Snap and Go :(
yes i can see the season making it harder. i am trying to last another 2 weeks so hopefully it will be a bit warmer and we wont freeze trying to get in and out. i am glad they made it this long in it but the car seats are getting so heavy too its time to make the dreaded switch.

i definitely know the feeling!! that is when i made the switch.. when it was incredibly hard to wheel the snap and go. i had to lift it to make a turn
but yea, try to milk it for another 2 weeks!!
i really hated it in the winter, just think, they are all bundled up, the blankets, hats, etc.. ughh it was soo hard! i am so excited for the warm weather because then it will be easier! no bulky stuff!!

Re: Outgrowing Snap and Go :(
i wanted to cry the day we retired the snap n go!!
as far as getting them in the stroller....as long as i can i try to get a spot that is either empty on both sides, or is pretty big. then i can roll the stroller next to the car as i take each baby out.

You'll get used to it! What kind of car do you have? With the minivan I can still park close to other cars, sliding doors are a big plus! I still have my twins in the infant seats just because of the cold weather. It is so much easier with the bundle me right now so I am sticking it out for another month or so.

Re: Outgrowing Snap and Go :(
Ugh, this day is rapidly approaching for us too! For me, DS is just too big...really height more than weight...and it is more of a pain than a help. BUT, I am still dreading the switch. Good luck!
