Who do u use for your homeowner's insurance?
I need to shop around. Want to use 1 company for homeowener's, life, and auto.

we use liberty mutual for another 2 weeks.. been with them since 3/06 when we bought. After a post on here I contacted someone about Mercury insurance and their quote is more than 600 cheaper than our current insurance. If you want her email information let me know, she was a pleasure to deal with!

We aren't on LI but, we use one company for homeowners and auto and a separate company for life - it was more cost efficient that way (just wanted to throw that out there).

I agree it can be cheaper to get different types of insurance through different companies. We used to use State Farm for homeowners' and auto, but we switched our auto to Geico because we were able to save more $ that way (life insurance has always been with a separate company).
So if your motivation for bundling them together is financial, I'd price it out and see if there's really a benefit.

We had to change insurance because of our location - less than 1 mile from the southshore and we need hurricane inusrance. We switched to Mercury too and even with the additional coverage the premium is the same as we were paying before. I used an agent and he was really helpful if you would like his info.

We use The Hartford for home and auto insurance through AARP. They give us good rate for being AARP members and combining home and auto together. Life insurance is through DH’s company.

Lots of companies say that if you use threm for car and homeowners insurance you'll get a discount.
I just did a lot of work on this, and I found USAA (fantastic company by the way) who gave a me great price on homeowners insurance but not for car insurance, and the reverse with Geico. I got two seperate policies and save over $1,500. I got great rates for each type of insurance. I was told Geico was great for car insurance because they do so much business in NYS.

I tried to go with State Farm and they told me they weren't writing new policies on LI, that if I wanted coverage, I had to wait for a policy to open up! We ended up going through a broker and Narraganset (i think that's how you spell it) is ours now.

Liberty Mutual. Great company!
We are with them too - but after our premium going from 1070 to 2400 in 6 years with no claims, we are not staying with them. They also have absolutely NO explanation as to why our premium has increased so much.
