PLEASE recommend...
You video monitor :) I've heard nightmares... and now that one that I was going to get has a battery recall ~ aparently, they can set your house on fire! Fantastic

thanks! This is the one that is only available at BBB, not BRU - I think I might splurge and get it for myself, since registry is at BRU... I've heard the best things about this one so far.

I have the Summer Slim and Secure.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
It works great.
It had a battery recall- but only because their was a chance the battery in the hand held part could leak. They replaced it for us.
There was never an issue of it setting the house on fire- not sure how a battery could set a house on fire.

i have this too. my model wasnt on the recall. the only issue ive been having lately (6 months after i bought it), is i get Signal Lost. I contacted Summer and they said its because i have it near a phone.

Ah ha! I get signal lost sometimes too - and come to think of it- it usually does happen when I am near my phone.

The OLDER MODEL Best View for sure...
I tried a few other high-end ones (the new Baby Touch, and the NEW best view)...they both had SUPER grainy images. Do NOT waste your time or money on them.
