Can you think of a romantic restaurant in the City
That is not over the top expensive that would be appropriate for a 5th wedding anniversary??
Please feel free to recommend your favorite place!
Just to clarify: please note that during dinner we will be having very involved conversation about our relationship, whether or not we should move out of NY and how the kids are developing.
Oh, and later on S e x will probably occure...
Now do with this as you wish!

Merchant's - it's on 62st & 1st - DH and I absolutely adore it! It has a cigar bar downstairs which has a great bar scene after dinner.
It's a limited menu, super reasonable, but the ambiance is to die for! Comfortable plush chairs, dark, candle-lit.

I love this place. Do they still have the martini bar downstairs? It's been ages since I've been there.

I went to Ayza. While it was decent, the portions were just soooo small. This was a couple of years ago though. it may have changed since then.
You could maybe try Asia De Cuba, Les Halles, bar Bouloud. Those are all nice and have great food!
eta: oops! didn't realize how old this is!

Well, since you asked: yes, good and yes!
After reading this I realized that, apparently, our lives didn't change one bit in the past 3 years: we are stil in NY and constantly discussing possibly moving to a different state, still talking about our kids during romantic dinners out and still having sex on regular basis! Gosh, we are soooo boring!!
