We had a Sesame St. cake from Stop and Shop, I made the Elmo/Cookie Moster cupcakes. Also, for a favor, I put 2 chocolate chip cookies into the Cookie Monster favor bag (got the labels made from Etsy). Also had an Elmo pinata.........and of course the big Elmo/Cookie monster helium balloons but no pictures of those!

i know. totally over the top. but some ideas of the ideas are pretty cute and could be easy to replicate. I cant imagine where she found the time to do them ALL!

We're doing Sesame Street too! I found lots of stuff at Party City--they have the sugar Elmo faces that you can put on cookies or cupcakes, and I bought an Elmo cake pan (this will be my first time trying my hand at cake decorating! ) As you can tell, I'm trying to do it on a budget, though the site above was amazing!!! I found table cloths at the Dollar Tree!
And I'm thinking maybe a pinata or the Oscar the grouch garbage can game (though we won't have too many older kids).

they have adorable plates,napkins and stuff at the Dollar tree
we got a sesame street decorated cake at the supermarket - cute and cheap. I also bought wilton icing decorations (elmos face) and put them on oreos. I also got a bunch of elmo sugar cookies from a local bakery.
Elmo piniata from party warehouse
. I decorated different colored favor bags and made different characters faces using foam paper. I filled them with a sesame street coloring book, elmo crayon that I had made on etsy, snack pack of sesame street alphabet crackers and a small playdough
I also got these awesome airjumper balloons off amazon of elmo and big bird big hit with the kids!
I also filled clear balloons with pom poms and feathers just for the kids to play with on the floor.

FYI: Not sure where you live but Shop Rite has really cute sesame street cake and cupcakes. The cupcakes are really cute (big bird, oscar, cookie monster, & elmo)
