Just finished Vampire Academy series. Please recommend a new series!
Loved VA series - couldnt put the books down. I love the chemistry of the characters and the sexual tension here. Can anyone recommend something else along these lines?

Have you read The Hunger Games?
VA is my most favorite series ever!! I loved it. I read them all in a week.
ETA: I'm pretty sure you did read The Hunger Games
I just finished the House of Night series. It was good as well. It took a couple of books to get into and it's not VA but it was still really good.
I'm reading the Iron Fey series right now. I'm on the 3rd book (only 3 out right now) and I'm really into that as well.

I second this! Also, the Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris is great!

The Trylle trilogy was good as was My Blood Approves series.
I will warn you though. After reading VA nothing is going to be quite as good.

They aren't YA, but I like Black Dagger Brotherhood and Midnight Breed series.
I liked the Darkhunter series as well, but it got to be too long for me.
If you want another YA vamp series I like Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz

I just finished the VA series as well, I loved it! I can't wait for Bloodlines! I'm going to take a break from series for a bit (right before starting VA I read the Hunger Games series so I'm pooped). But I think I'll try the Black Dagger Brotherhood series at some point.

I agree. Nothing even comes close. Best series ever.
Mortal Instruments is what I have to read next (I think). I just have to finish Jane Eyre so I can go back to some guilty pleasure.

I had started the Mortal Instruments series but then I found out about her being a plagiarist back when she was a popular Harry Potter FanFic writer and it really bothered me so I stopped reading her books.
