Neti Pot
I just started using one last night to help me with a bad cold. I am really really congested. I just used it now and somehow, fluid got in my ear. It kind of hurts but its just really annoying, since my ear is now clogged. I can hear the fluid swishing around in there! Has anyone else had this problem? How long did it take until the fluid drained out?

Re: Neti Pot
I haven't gotten it in my ear but use it often, try holding your nose and popping your ears (like you'd do on a plane)--when I've had water in my ears that helps. Obviously don't do it too hard!

Re: Neti Pot
You might have gotten it in your ear because you are too stuffed up. If you can't breathe freely from both nostrils you might want to wait to use the neti pot. Feel better soon.

ITA. I don't use my neti pot if I am too congested, because I have also had that feeling from fluid in my ear. In my case, it took almost 2 weeks to go away.
