Hair Color HELP - Added B4 & after pics

I recently let my cousin dye my hair (she works for a salon - but has little experience) I wanted blond but it turned out with very orange tint to it. She came back about a week later & tried an ash color to help & it helped a little but i just don't like it, still a bit orangy & I didn't want orange I wanted blond. So now I want to fix it. I decided to go brown instead but not sure how this works.
I bought a box to do at home but wanted some advise 1st. I bought a medium reddish brown but on the box it doesn't show how it might look for my hair color. Anyone know if it will turn more orange?
Please...any advise is appreciated !!

go get it fixed. seriously!!!! i am a colorist and i swear half of my work is fixing bad home color.
you just dont know how it will turn out kwim?
plus it can be veryyyyy damaging since your hair has been recently colored. take a breathe!! step away from the at home color lol gl!

If your going to do it at home, I'd suggest using a cool shade with blue undertones. I'd avoid anything with red/orange undertones to it. You might be best off going to a salon though. HTH!

def. go to a salon to have it fixed professionally. I tried to save money by doing at home dye only to end up spending more money to have it fixed in a salon.

what is your natural hair color?

if you want it blonde, then go and have someone professionally fix it..

if you want to go brown, STAY away from anything that says RED.. it'll make your hair redder.

You want to stay with cools or ash..

I am a hairdresser and it would be a huge help to see a picture. If your roots are orange and your ends are more blonde then you made need 2 different colors. You would have to be careful not to turn the ends green with an ash color.

Thanks for all of your responses...I ended up using the box & LUCKILY it turned out great.
I used 2 boxes of the nice & easy FOAM kind.
It came out dark brown with some hints of red but looks really nice. A million times better then it looked before. My DH keep saying he LOVES it & it looks so much more natural than the orange blonde hair.

I LOVE red hair.. I have been pretty much every color but red because I don't think I could pull it off..

IMO, the blonde didn't do anything for you.. the red makes your skin and eyes pop! HOT!!!
