Dr. Pilliterri and Clomid
Has anyone gone through a Clomid cycle being monitored by Dr. P in Deer Park ? If so, your experiences?

Re: Dr. Pilliterri and Clomid
I just did this. We were trying for about 2 months with no succcess only because I have absolutely no idea what I ovulate.
My period has been inconsistent since I was a teenager ... skipping months, you name it. My daughter that was born 3 yrs ago was super easy to conceive... on BC for 8 yrs to regulate system, got married, came off BC, and next cycle I was pregnant.
Well three yrs later, never went back on BC and all out of wack again, Pilliterri put me on the cycle and 1st shot it worked. Won't lie... I was a little nervous at first to take anything, but it was super easy and I knew I was pregnant a week before my period was due!!!! Not sure if it has been this easy for everyone... but worked wonders for us :)
Good luck :) and if you have any questions let me know.

Re: Dr. Pilliterri and Clomid
Congrats!!!! That is awesome.
Thanks so much for the info. We did our first round last month with him and no success, so its nice to hear a positive outcome. I was a little concerned about his time for monitoring and I felt like everytime I called the office I was being a bother, but I like him so much I wanted to give it a try. We are due for round 2 with him and I just am not sure if we should be seeing an RE instead. I also have had inconsistent cycles since I was a teenager, but we are ttc our first. he has done many of the same tests an RE would run so I feel good about that. This will be our 9th month...Hoping this one does the trick!
Thanks again for the info and have a happy and healthy 9 months :) Oh and btw if you don't mind answering, did you trigger for ovulation with Ovidrel?

Re: Dr. Pilliterri and Clomid
I started the one medicine... which in all honesty made me feel like someone was juggling my ovaries :)... then the second pill... went in for my sono and I had no yet ovulated at that point and it was day 13. We had on days 11 and 12, not trying for anything just to do so, and then we again on the 13th, after I got my shot.
I didn't use an ovulation test or anything after the shot to see if I had ovulated and we only did it the one time right after I got home and nothing more until like a week later and by that time it was too late so I actually thought I was out of the running... but felt ton of pressure a week before my period so decided to test .. that was 9 days past the day that I had my shot and it was positive.
Not sure if it was the day of the shot fun, or one of the two previous days and there were lingering sperm which they say can happen, but it worked.
They told me that I was lucky, so don't get discouraged. When I was doing my research, they said that even if everything is a GO... there is only a 20% chance of actually having a baby, so its not any easy thing to do. Good luck :)
