Question about unemployment
Is there any way, other than being fired/laid off, to collect unemployment?
We are moving because DH got a job transfer, so I think I will most likely take a leave of absence from my job so I have the opportunity to come back in 2 years if I want.
Would I be eligible for unemployment? We are moving out of the country if that makes a difference.

Re: Question about unemployment
Highly unlikely that you can collect unemployment since you are voluntarily leaving your job. In addition, some states require you to be seeking employment in order to collect, which you obviously won't be doing since you won't even be in the country.

That's pretty much what I assumed but I wanted to make sure. Google was no help. Thanks!
