Re: Manhasset Hills

I know the area very well. Manhasset Hills is part of New Hyde Park. The school district is Herricks which is pretty highly rated. There are many nice homes...pricey..but nice. Taxes are on the high side. There is actually a foreclosure on Robby Lane that I saw ...needs alot of work but on a very nice block. As far as the library you would use the Shelter Rock Library...thats probably the closest. Pool...you would go to Clinton G. Martin. I went there as a kid and loved it. Um...anything else u want to know about it...just let me know.

Re: Manhasset Hills

Library is Shelther Rock Library. On the small side, but a lot to offer for its size.

Elementary school is Denton Ave. School (Herricks SD),secondary schools are Herricks MS and Herricks HS which are all excellent and consistently ranked at the top both on the island and in the state.

Taxes are HIGH. . . .

Very close to both the Northern State and the LIE.

Hi There..

Just curious, did you end up moving to Manhasset Hills?

I live there and unfortunately only know 1 neighbor and I have been living there for almost 2 years!

Hope all is well!

Re: Manhasset Hills

Hi,

I know this thread is a little old but seems appropriate for my question.

We're looking in Manhasset Hills area right now and we've seen some homes we like. I commute to the city. Which LIRR station would be the best to commute from? What is the parking situation like? I get off the N,R,1 train at Whitehall/South Ferry and want to get in around 8:30am. Would it be difficult getting a parking spot around 7-7:30am?

Thanks!
