It has terrible reviews. I just read it anyway. I didn't think it was a great book--it is poorly written. I also didn't like what she did with the characters and how they turned out, but it was still fun to "get to know them" again. brought back old memories.
One of the most annoying writing aspects for me was how often she made Jessica say "like" and "so". I found I had to force myself to skip over those words because it irritated me everytime, and I don't know anyone in their late 20s who uses "like" so much.

It was an easy lighthearted read.
-Jessica seemed a little young
-FP tried so hard to hit on ALL the edgy story lines and fit everything into 200 pages that the story wasn't that fleshed out. If she was writing for her adult readers she didn't do a good job.
-To me it would have been better set some years back, and as a trilogy.

I was going to buy it, heard the reviews were bad and decided to reserve it at the library. I'm trying to do this more anyway. Regardless, I am waiting impatiently for my turn to come!

i was so over the so's!! irritated me more than the likes if thats possible.
i liked it because i was obsessed with SVT and SVH when i was younger and it was nice to be back in the storyline. That said, i didn't love the book and if i hadn't had history with the Sweet Valley sagas i would probably have hated it. Maybe it was because i read the series so long ago, but i thought some of the people she included in the book (especially the recap at the end) weren't that big a part of the series a few years ago? it was a long time ago so maybe i forgot!
