This "Mom" Thing
Totally has it's highs and lows.
Last night during family cuddle my 9 year old gives me the sweetest look and says "I love you Mom" I melt a little and he says "But not as much as Jhonna".      
Jhonna is his little 'girlfriend'.
What.. EVA!!!!!!!
This morning my NoNo crawls up into my lap and holds my face between his hands and just stares at me with his patoot smile.
I say "What?"
He says "I like looking at you!"
I say "Why?"
He says "Because you have the face I love the most in the whole world!"
And I melt a little.. and then I say..
"Why else?"
He says "That's it."
NoNo is 7.. I figure I have at LEAST 2 years before some preteen in a pink sweater and sparkly sneakers steals part of his affection!

Don't worry.. I've already planted the seeds that Jhonna is just a phase. I told him that he can marry anyone he wants.. as long as she's brunette, named Maddie and has a mother that I actually like!
