SAFE Highlight recommendations around Massapequa or Islip
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a place around Massapequa where they do safe or natural highlights?
I want to stay away from harsh chemicals during the pregnancy, but I want it to look really nice.
Any suggestions?

I don't know if you can really 'highlight' w/ a 'natural' product - highlighting usually involves some type of bleaching .........
Is your hair already light? I know my sister uses a low volume peroxide when she does my hair (i'm very blonde already though) .......I just wait until after the 1st tri per my Dr.

I've heard from hair stylist friends that the whole "safe & natural" highlighting is a load of crap. It's a gimmick to convince women they are getting some type of organic process or something.
Highlights are always a chemical process and they are perfectly safe after the first trimester. Since they aren't going to the root, I would just go to the place you normally use.
I just got highlights 2 weeks ago and just used my regular colorist.

Agreed. And make sure there is a fan or something for the fumes.
