waves of nausea
I've been getting waves of nausea on and off for about a month or so. It is the strangest thing. I'll be fine and all of a sudden feel like I want to throw up, but don't. It usually passes within a few minutes. Anyone know what this could be? I am 100% sure I'm not pregnant but it's like the same symptoms. I also get dizzy, which passes.

Re: waves of nausea
I have gone through phases of having this too.
I am no doctor, but I think it is anxiety/stress related (for me, anyway)

hmmm... I don't think that's the case with me. I was thinking more of a hormonal thing like early menopause?

Re: waves of nausea
could also be a sinus infection or ear infection b/c that can make you nauseous and also dizzy...

Re: waves of nausea
My waves of nausea are related to acid reflux. When stomach acid refluxes back into your esophagus, it can cause a quick wave of nausea. I was diagnosed with acid reflux, even though I didn't feel any heartburn, which is the major symptom. I had nausea and frequent burping.

Re: waves of nausea
I wish I knew, I have had waves of nausea for the past 4 days. . . I stayed home from work today - it is so annoying! I just wish that something would happen so I could feel better!

Re: waves of nausea
I get that before my period almost every month. Definitely could be hormonal!

Re: waves of nausea
sometimes I get this with my period. but I had it last week. I think this is a strange bug or something - I just want to feel better.

Re: waves of nausea
acid reflux? inner ear issue ? BP issue? heart? hormonal?
could be anything, so I would see a dr.
