How to get rid of a wasp nest
We constantly have wasps on our balcony and I was out there yesterday and found they have a nest 
It's not huge yet, about the size of a hazelnut, but I have no idea how to get rid of it...FH says to go out with gloves and throw the hive off the balcony and spray it down but I'm nervous with wasps...do I need an exterminator??

Go to the home store. They have sprays that shoot long distances. Soak it for a long while, then you can remove it.

Wait until night time, spray it really well, and watch it the next day to make sure you don't see any wasps coming and going. You may have to spray it more than once before you knock it down.

Def. wait until night time. They are dormant then and you can get closer to spray.

I have gotten rid a a few on our swingset and I spray it at dusk and knock it down the next day.

Wait until the sun is down and then you could use hot soapy water just dump a bucket full on the nest, this will kill them without the chemicals.
