Summer Camps, VBS, etc in L-town/Wantagh/Seaford area

I am still looking into what to do with DD this summer. I don't want to spend a lot of $$ because her Spanish school is very $$$ and I am trying to keep costs down.
I see St. Francis requires that you be a parishoner, and my church (St James) doesn't seem to have VBS.

Any recommendations?? TIA!

Are you looking for a one week program or multiweek?

Nassau county has a summer rec program at Wantagh Park from 9:00 - 3:00 from 7/5 - 8/11 its $600.00 if you want her to stay until 5:00 its $750.00

TOH usually has little arts and crafts programs at local parks that are free.

I believe VBS is offered by other churches in Wantagh Christ Lutheran, St Judes the church on Wantagh Ave (where Pixi school is held) I dont kno if you need to be a resident.

Thanks Fran - I just printed up the Nassau County brochure....I just wonder how crowded it is.
