cryosurgery (maybe some TMI)

anyone have this done?

i am having it done thursday and im wondering what to exect afterward.

i have read that it's a 3 week recovery, meaning no sex, tampons, heavy exercise (all very present in my life! )

and that there is a watery discharge?

do i need to get liners/pads? eww... i havent used a pad since im a teenager..

I had it done back in 97 or 98. THe proceedure wasnt too painful....just cramping. Yes you will have discharge. Buy pads. ones for heavy flow in the beginning. Because its more of a watery discharge and not as thick as a period I felt I needed to change it all the time in the beginning.

I had it down 3 days before a vacation and half my suitcase was pads. Its not fun in the beginning but after it slows down it is not that bad.

I can't remember how long it took to stop but, I know I was cramping during the test (I was so nervous I hyperventilated and passed out) and was craming after too. You will definitely need some regular pads and light ones as well. The procedure itself was pretty quick.

I think I blocked alot out of my memory... it was back in like 2002

i had it done in the early 2000's so i dont remember too much but i know it felt like period cramps.
i *think* you can take advil or something before if you want to help. i remember the no sex thing but i dont recall having crazy discharge, just a lil more than usual for a few days. i only wore a pad when i got my period
