kid's haircut
My DS is in desperate need of a haircut. I took him to Kidz Cuts in Sunrise Mall and they destroyed his hair. I need a good place. The only other place I've tried (which did a fantastic job) was in VA by my parents house. Obviously not an option today.

The only place I've ever taken DS for a haircut is in Brooklyn. They did a great job, but I imagine that's out of the way for you.
For his 2nd and 3rd haircuts, I actually cut it myself. In fact, I just cut his hair this morning. Definitely still learning, but I'm injured, can't walk without crutches and he really needed it.

The place in sunrise mall was terrible, I would never go back. We go to the one in Roosevelt field by nordstroms. All the hairdressers are great with kids.
