Vets in Port Jeff/Setauket area
Our vet is currently in Hauppauge and we live out in Port Jeff Station. The commute is a pain. We are looking for a good vet near us. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I used to go to Jefferson Animal Hosp. They are great there! I wish I could find a vet like them down here.

My hubby is Dr Brian Rose, he is partners with his brother, Jeff at Jefferson Animal Hospital, in Port Jeff Station.

I used to take my dog Gizmo there, until he was put to sleep at 17 years old.

Dr. Templeton!
We LOVE him and Achilles does too. The Dr. literally sat on the floor and allowed him to sniff him for like 5 minutes until Achilles was comfortable enough to start the appointment. Never pressures us to do anything we dont want to, very informative. Great doctor.

I have tried so many vets and this man is hands down the best!!!! the hours are great, the staff is amazing, and he is on-call 24-7. if you have an emergency his office is equipped to handle anything, so you just call him and he mets you there. no rushing to the emergency vet to have to wait around.
he has worked at many of the emergency centers for over 20 years. he is such a great vet! never tells me I need all the vaccines, doesn't push dog food or meds. he is very much about a "natural" way of living.
His fees used to be great, they recently went up, but he is a great vet that is sort of worth it.

I LOVE Dr.s Rose at Jefferson also. I have been using them for like 15 years at least & my whole family & my pet sitter also use them!
