Dr. Marilyn Agin
Does anyone take their DC to Dr. Agin? She wrote the book The Late Talker and is in Manhattan. My mom has offered to pay for an evaluation. She can't fit us in for months - apparently she only sees 3 children a day. Just looking for feedback. Thanks!

I've heard fabulous things and read her book also. We'd love to take DS to see her but just can't afford it. As it is we've been on a waiting list since mid-April to see a developmental ped that actually takes insurance. The waits are nuts.

We're seeing a child psychologist who takes insurance in Aug. We lucked out as had to make an appointment in Nov but someone cancelled an Aug one right afterwards and they were nice enough to call back. Agree that the waits are awful.

I was very interested in seeing her too, but it's so expensive and such a long wait.
I will bump a thread that was on a few months ago about her pricing. It's the thread about the neurologist who specializes in speech disorders
