Kindergarten supply list
When and how does your school let you know what will be needed??
Does the list come with a letter from the school or is it on the school web site??

We got it in the K orientation packet. When we went for the orientation in april/may-ish i handed in my check for supplies

We got ours in August when they sent home the teacher assignments and bus info.

Same here. I would also add that at the same time, they sent home a form allowing you to buy your supplies through the PTA. I didn't do it this past year for kindergarten, but I have already sent in my check for the first grade box of supplies.

I am assuming this is when we will get ours too because we didnt get it at orientation.

Same. Some of the elementary schools in our district list them on their website, but I don't believe mine does.

I just ordered mine through the PTA. It was cheap and saved me from running around looking for everything. I've heard it's a lot more cost effective that way as well.

They said they're sending the list over the summer. I'm hoping they offer a kit, so I can buy it and not have to run from store to store.
