Sheraton or raddison near sesame place?
Which do you prefer and why? Not worried about the price just looking for some insight we have never been before also have you ever rented a cabana? Is it a total waste of money? We only have one child so it would be the three of us! TIA

We stayed at the Sheraton right across the street, it was fine, clean and had a shuttle to go to the park which was convenient!

i like the residence inn by sesame, which has a shuttle, super clean, great breakfast, nice pool, kid's movie night with good snacks/beer/wine and i don't think cabanas are worth it.

Same here....staying there again in 2 weeks
as did we, very nice hotel and the shuttle was quick and very convenient. have a great time!

I have stayed in both and I prefer the Raddison. It was less expensive but I felt it was far more comfortable. The one thing I hated about the Sheraton (might not be a big deal to some but was to me) was there was no fitted sheet on the bed! They just put a flat sheet down and tucked in the sides, so the minute I rolled over the whole sheet moved and I was laying on the mattress!  It just skeeved me. I felt the Raddison was really nice, clean, had a good place to eat breakfast (although you did have to pay for it) and the bed was REALLY REALLY comfortable. It wasn't far from SP at all-plus we didn't use the shuttle from the Sheraton b/c my husband wanted my son in his car seat.

we stayed at the sheraton, while we enjoyed it, i wish they would have told us it was a pet friendly hotel...
DS & DHs dog allergy was HORRIBLE...

I stayed at the Raddison and we loved it- they have a indoor and outdoor pool which the kids loved. Also at the pool they serve frozen cocktails for theparents!! ( so you feel like its a real vacay).

I'm glad you thought so. When we stayed there about 5 years ago it was FILTHY. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the sheets on the beds smelled like mildew, in addition to various other unacceptable things. I'm very glad to hear they have cleaned up because the location can't be beat!

I'm glad you thought so. When we stayed there about 5 years ago it was FILTHY. I'm very glad to hear they have cleaned up because the location can't be beat!
I think that place is hit and miss...we stayed there last year and we encountered what you did...very dirty. But we do know others who said it wasnt. So strange. We wont stay there again.

Wow, no the room was clean and fine, and I'm anal about things like that too, I would NOT stay somewhere that had a spot on it, I get skeeved out easily! Ugh now I feel dirty that I stayed there But it also wasnt' the height of the season so maybe they remain clean and when it gets busy they can't really keep up with it

Wow, no the room was clean and fine, and I'm anal about things like that too, I would NOT stay somewhere that had a spot on it, I get skeeved out easily! Haha awww nooo I am sure it was fine. Believe me we have friends that went and said great, but we cleary had an opposite experience. We also think it was our room and we should have moved but once we settled the baby's stuff we didn't feel like it. We were in one of those inside rooms, no outside window, our little window opened to a corner of the lobby. It was terrible!!
