I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
and this girl is SO dumb. She had intense pain for a month or two, her mom was a nurse and took her blood pressure and it was too high, her mom begged and begged for her to go to the dr and this idiot wouldn't. I mean, maybe she didn't recognize that she was 9 months pregnant because she wasn't pregnant before (even that I have a hard time believing) but there was obviously something very wrong with her and she just flat out refused to get help for it. That's so stupid. She's SO lucky that the baby is as healthy as it is, things could have been way worse.

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
I am only 9 weeks along, and I'm not showing, nor do I have any really obvious symptoms, so I get that some people might not know they were pregnant for the first few months.
However......how can you possibly get to the point of carrying around a 5, 6, 7lb baby who is moving and kicking and NOT realize something is up?? Maybe I'll understand better when I get to that point, but I doubt it.

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
OMGOMGOMG this lady had the baby in her bathroom, tied the umbilical cord with dental floss and cut it with scissors, and didn't call anyone for days! Didn't go to the dr for 2 days AND she has preeclampsia and had no pre natal care so who knows what condition the baby was in! DUMB She said she just wanted to spend time with the baby alone. She didn't even tell her husband who was away on a business trip. He came home and he's like uh who's baby is that

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
I always have to chime in on a "Didn't know I was pregnant" thread.
My mom knew she was pregnant with my brother, but she didn't realize just HOW pregnant she was until she gave birth to my brother in our bathroom one warm Saturday morning in August. Only my father knew she was pregnant. I was nine years old at the time and my sister was just a year old. I remember coming out of my bedroom and seeing my mom holding a bloody baby and asking "What happened to Kelly?!" She just kept telling me "This isn't Kelly, Kelly's fine. Get your father, tell him to call 911." I had to call my aunts and uncles out of state to tell them the news and they hung up on me, they told me I had the wrong number! lol! But I just have to say, it is possible for someone who is a reasonably intelligent person (meaning: not white trash) to not know they are pregnant for months.
ETA: Oh and a little fun fact... my brother was over 10 lbs. when he was born! God bless my momma.

It was actually pretty exciting. Michael was (and still is at 16, God help us) healthy and happy and it's quite the story. My mom is one TOUGH lady.

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
I had a pt that you would have never known was pg. SHe was 22 and delivered a 8lb healthy baby boy. SHe was wearing a freaking bikini I had no idea and clearly she did not. She had taken a pg test and it was +. Her "1st" appointment was at "8wks" and she thougt she was 6wks or so. Well blood, cramps, and so on. For some reason I checked to see the bleeding and found her crowning I have never been so freaked out on the inside before and I have delievered the crapline of I didn't know there was a baby before form a crack head, but this was real...I mean really real she had no idea.

I don't believe she didn't know. NOBODY is that oblivious. Remember it's Hollywood you're watching. Real life is far more interesting and real.

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
I went to school with someone who was almost 8 months pregnant & had no idea until she went to the doctor for a physical. She's a thin girl & didn't look pregnant AT ALL, didn't gain weight or have a baby belly, and still had periods the whole time. What a shock that must have been! I still can't understand how she fit a full-sized fetus in there without showing

Have you seen the show? It's not Hollywood.
I know someone that didn't know until she was 6 months, but she was only 15. I saw her at 8 months & I didn't know, couldn't tell.

there are actually some people out there who just don't know. oblivious or dumb as it may be... but it indeed does happen.
I def can understand those on BCP who are getting their periods monthly... and also the ones who take HPT's and they are negative even though they are pregnant... I can see that happening. But some of the others... I just don't get it!!
My brother's girlfriend didn't know she was pregnant until she was well into her 2nd trimester (about 5 months along)...AND she has a kid already. I didn't understand, but it happened.

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
i can believe that an intelligent woman can be pregnant and not know about it... i just think that the show shows too many women who do crazy/stupid things... like the lady who was mentioned that she didn't go to the dr for a few days after having the baby.

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
A VERY close friend of mine didn't know she was pregnant until she was almost 6 months along. She was on BCP and got her period every month. She found out when she went for a routine physical. Her son was born healthy and is now 14 years old.

Not sure if you've ever been pregnant but once you're 7 months pregnant and SOMETHING is KICKING the living poo poo out of you and you see limbs protruding from your stomach, you know. Otherwise your are beyond oblivious.

I've been pregnant twice and with my first I didn't feel her until the very end of my pregnancy due to my placenta being anterior. Obviously I knew I was pregnant as in went through IVF, as well as the fact i was huge, but not everyone feels the baby. I hardly think it's due to being oblivious.

Reading comprehension is critical
Tilde said SOMEONE - not herself - SOMEONE shared a personal story.
Yes, you gave your opinion and your tone in sharing said opinion was indeed nasty.
Who needs that pill?
