I don't believe she didn't know. NOBODY is that oblivious.
Well you're wrong. It's possible, and it has nothing to do with being oblivious. My mom got her period and everything.
Not sure if you've ever been pregnant but once you're 7 months pregnant and SOMETHING is KICKING the living poo poo out of you and you see limbs protruding from your stomach, you know. Otherwise your are beyond oblivious.
Let it go - no need to be nasty with someone who was nice enough to share a personal story.
Who said I was tallking about your personal story? And that was far from nasty. It was an OPINION. Take a chill pill.
Opinions can be nasty too. And it wasn't my story, I just found it nasty how you went back at the PP who shared a story with us, not once but twice.

**to be read in calm/sarcasm font with a sense of humor**
Reading comprehension is critical
Tilde said SOMEONE - not herself - SOMEONE shared a personal story.
Yes, you gave your opinion and your tone in sharing said opinion was indeed nasty.
Who needs that pill?
I'm on the wagon..no pills for me

Thanks.
I've never been pregnant, but my mom obviously was before. Maybe peanutsmom never had really bad gas before. Consider yourself lucky.
ETA: Before I get yelled at, I'm kidding, I don't equate carrying a child in your stomach to a night of Mexican food.

For the record- I had anterior placenta - meaning my placenta was in the front and cushioned all the kicks and movements. I barely felt a kick and I NEVER EVER saw a limb protrude ever. I'd get some light flutters here and there and you know what, now that I am not preggo, I am starting to think even THOSE were gas because I get the exact same things I thought were flutters and kicks now- and I am most CERTAINLY not preggo anymore. So yes, it could happen.

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
It happened to me! I didn't know I was pg
I was 18 at the time and complained to my mother about having a sharp pain on my side, she was concerned that it could have been my appendix since she had to have hers removed. She made me an appt for the dr a few days later, he felt around then gave me a urine test. He told us I was pg and I should get to the gyno ASAP bc from what he could feel I may be somewhat far along. The gyno took me that night on an emergency basis, they did a sono and said here's your baby arms, legs, heart! I was just about 19 weeks along - I was completely SHOCKED (so was my mom!), i had absolutely no idea I was pg, no symptoms or weight gain and the thought never even crossed my mind. If myy mom hadnt made that Dr's appt for me who knows how long i wouldve waited before I found out for myself!

I was in total shock and numb after I found out. I hear people say its impossible to not know your pg, but it happened to me. at the time (7 years ago) it was serious, but I can look back now and chuckle at the whole situation (plus I have an amazing boy!)

Re: I'm watching I didn't know I was pregnant...
I didn't know I was pregnant with my first either. I had a history of irregular periods. I went to planned parenthood with a friend who thought she was pregnant and was freaking out about what the doctor was going to say because we were teens so I went in first to make her feel better. Well mine came back positive and hers was negative!
According to my last period I was about 8 weeks pregnant but when the doctor did an internal exam he said I was further along, Pulled over the sono machine and I was in fact 18 weeks! I weighed 115 lbs at that visit. At 25 weeks my abdomen was totally FLAT still. I remember walking in the mall and ran into a friend who asked me when the baby was born and I was at the end of my 9th month! Never morning sickness, cravings, leg swelling and I even had my period the first trimester. I will say that I did feel my son kick 2 wks after I found out I was pregnant so I'm glad I found out before then cause I probably would've been totally freaked out
