Recommend your moving company
DH and I need a moving company to move us from our condo in Brooklyn to our house in Glen Head. We need someone who is reliable, licensed, and trustworthy. Any recommendations are much appreciated.

Ken's Moving Company. Awesome! Not a single thing broke and they were the most reasonable at $90/hour for 3 men. They were on time, their estimate was accurate and they were very nice.

I sent an FM but I have used Shea Moving a few times and they were AMAZING and honest and professional.
I will use them again when I move in a year.

Thank you for your recommendations ladies We called Kens but they were not available....besides, we weren't that happy with the costumer service The lady who answered the phone the 3 times we called was not the most cordial or informative and to be honest, that put us off quite a bit
We ended using the services of MOVING RIGHT ALONG and can I say...."WOW" OMG! They were absolutely wonderful! When my DH called, the gentleman who answered the phone was absolutely wonderful! He was informative and tried to save us money. We ended with 4 guys to move us and they were amazing! They were so nice an fast!! We were quoted for 10 hours and since the moving companies work by the hour, DH and I were a bit concerned (since we lived on a 3 floor with no elevators, they had to dismantle a few furniture items and put them together again when they got to the house, plus they also had to stop and empty our storage unit on a third floor of the stop and Stor 12 minutes from our house and to top it all, we were moving on a holiday weekend and traffic from Brooklyn to Long Island is usually horrible!!! ) but they made it in 8 1/2 hours!!! Amazing!!! Also, they didn't break a thing or scratch anything (including paint in our new house considering that some doors were very narrow and they had to put quite a few things in the basement, which the stairs and entry were narrow).
I highly recommend them!!! I give them 5 stars! Amazing job Moving Right Along!!!! You guys rock!!!!
