Help! How do I crop around a body in a picture?
I am doing a PowerPoint brief at work and need to integrate the Travelocity Gnome onto a slide showing a world map.
I want this picture but not the white background. Is there any way I can crop around his body and just paste him into the slide without the big white square background?

click and drag into MS publisher.
right click the pic, format.
Somewhere in there should be an option to "edit points"
This will let you control exactly how the image is edited.
Where 'edit points' is will depend on the version of Publisher you're using.
It might be simplest to just use the help feature in publisher.
Do you know whcih version you have?

THANK YOU!! That worked.
I have MS Office Publisher 2007 and with the help feature I was able to create and add the points to adjust the border. Ive never actually used Publisher. Now Im intrigued!

I like it a lot for print publications and basic editing.
Love the 'group' and 'align' functions. They're similar to group and align in powerpoint so you may already be familiar w/ them.

I believe you could have also saved the file as a PNG and it would have a transparent background.
