You should. Or at least try to get close. Otherwise, you're likely not eating enough, and that can cause your body to hold onto weight.

I'm on maintenance so I get 35 points and some days its very difficult for me to get there. However, you really should try to get as close as possible, as Lori pointed out.
Make sure you are getting in your good health guidelines- healthy oils, dairy, etc! And if you are overeating too many fresh fruits and veggies (you only want 5 servings) instead of getting in your protein and even some carbs.

Re: Do you use all of your WW points each day?
I am wondering if I was allotted too many points. I am trying to lose baby weight and I feel like since this isn't my typical weight maybe it's not as accurate as someone who put on the weight over time. Does that make sense? I ate 3 square meals yesterday and some little snacks but I stll had 11 points left over.

I usually come very close to eating all my points. I generally don't use my weekly points or my activity points but I try to eat all my daily points. Some days I'll have a few left over.

doesnt matter how you gained the weight. If you don't eat your points your body will go into starvation and you won't lose weight.

Jess is right that it doesn't matter how you put the weight on. Weight Watchers has a particular formula that takes everything into account (your age, height, current weight, etc) and creates a daily points target that is meant to help you lose weight while eating all your points.
However, even if you don't eat enough your body will not go into starvation. The Starvation Myth is a very popular misconception among dieters. While you do need to eat enough food to maintain a healthy lifestyle, not eating enough will not have an opposite effect known popularly as the Starvation Myth.
