Painting costs
Hello. I don't post much on here although I do log on multiple times a day. We are closing on our first house in about 10 days. We need to paint before we move in. Usually DH and I would paint ourselves but I am 33 weeks pregnant! Can you guys recommend your painter and if u don't mind how much u paid? The condo we bought is approximately 1400sq feet.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Painting costs
We just had the exterior of our home painted this week and we got a REALLY good price from the painter we used. (he also does interiors of course) His name is Angelo and he own La Salle Home Improvements. He was on the job EVERY day, oversaw the guys, and did A LOT of the work himself. Everything came out great. He is licensed and insured as well. His is located in Pt. Jeff station but he goes all over the island. His phone number is 631-838-2462. If you call you can tell him Kristen in Stony Brook referred you, maybe he will give you an even better price.

Re: Painting costs
I don't have the paperwork handy to give you the price but we used Precision Painters. They were by far the cheapest. We put a dormer on my mom's house and needed our entire place painted. They were reasonable (compared to the other quotes we got), came with a fairly large crew, and finished the entire job in 3 days. I would hightly recommend them!

Really? I had them in for an estimate and I found them a little on the high side and they were trying to upcharge us on every little thing. I wasn't really too impressed so we went with someone else.

I am not sure but I would call and ask. It's possible. A lot of these people go all over the place.
