Workout Challenge - Week of July 5th
Good job to everyone who did the plank challenge! It was NOT easy. I had to rest twice during the plank exercise (modified) and the no name (backwards plank? ) Is always a challenge to me and this is the first time I did a complete 2 minutes without having to stop in the middle.
So, this week's Challenge is this (please don't hate me):
Jumping jacks!!!
It's a challenge. How long will it take you to do 100 jumping jacks?
When you stop, the clock still runs.

Oops...forgot to add my tips.
Try to land softly on the balls of your feet.
In this type of exercise, it's better to go slower straight through than go fast, stop, fast, stop. So, find your pace. Stick with it.
Breathe consistently.
Stop if you have to, but walk in place. Don't stop completely.

I hate jumping!!! But I'll try it! I did manage to eventually get one full minute of the straight-armed planks without stopping last week! (do those count?)
