Gluten Allergy??
Anyone have one?
I noticed that my stomach burns incredibly when I eat bagels and I am wondering if gluten is the culprit. Advice??

How are you eatting other things that contain gluten? The same thing happens to my husband whenever he tries to eat something that contains gluten in it. He has to go for more test but after the reasearch and from what his dr said he may have celiac diease. His stomach has a burning feeling and he gets really sick.

Well I have stopped eating bagels and I don't get the extreme burn anymore (this was happening for over a year). If I eat raisin bread I get a mild burn but that's it. I have pretty much stopped eating anything with gluten because the pain can be so intense I am almost scared to eat. Pizza mildy bothers me. The other day I bought a whole wheat crust pizza and it happened. I was experimenting ;). It was a bad choice but bagels seem to be the worst for me.

Have you looked up any gastro doctors and does ur pcp know of your stomach issues? My husband still tries to experiement with food containing gluten
