Pediatric ENT...Dr. Warren Zelman, any feedback??
Hi Ladies,
So my DD unfortunately has yet ANOTHER ear infection. 3rd one in the last 4 months 
Her temp went up to 105.4 a few days ago and we had to rush to the ER. ER Dr. recommended I see someone at Cohens childrens hospital, I called, left a message with the Dr.'s secretary, she never called me back, thats not a good sign
Im looking for a Pediatric ENT in Queens or Nassau (im in Glendale, Queens). Someone GOOD and highly recommended. PLEASE. My poor baby has been through enough.

Since no one replied, I just went ahead with someone from my insurance list. The name is Dr. Warren Zelman.
Does anyone have feedback on him? The appt. is 2 weeks away, that was the nearest appt. My husband is not too happy with that and says I should keep looking, but if he's good Id rather wait.

I have seen him as an adult and think he is great.
I have reccomended several people to him.

Dr. Zelman did my ear surgery in 2003. i LOVE that man!!!! he can come off as an a$$ but then he grows on you. but he really is a genius in his field.
i didnt know he did pediatrics so i took DS to Dr. Mendlesohn who is affiliated with his practice.
plus i got a letter that Zelman isnt taking GHI anymore.

Thank you ladies, seems like he is worth waiting 2 weeks for then. I'll keep the appt.
Iansmommy, yes his secretary just told me he does both ped. and adult. Stinks he doesnt take your insurance anymore!

He's great!
Unfortunately my DS needed 2 different surgeries which the 2 doctors coordinating to do at the same time. He was the ENT (my son was tongue-tied) and he was recommended by my urologist, Dr. Moneer Hanna. I highly recommend him!

He did a procedure on me 20 years ago and remembered me when i brought my daughter to him last month. He is great!
