Did everyone lose their mucus plug before going into labor?

with both pregnancies, i lost the MP @ 35 weeks and again at 37 1/2 weeks. DS1 was born 3 days later @ 38 weeks, DS2 is still cooking.

Started losing mine on a Friday evening. Dr said baby would b here within 2 weeks . Baby came that Sunday 6:24 am. Fast and furious.

This! I lost my mucus plug a few hours after the contractions started. I was still home waiting for them to get closer together.

Water broke and when I wiped I saw a little bit of the plug. An hour later at the hospital the rest of it came out when I went to the bathroom.
