If you have a car bed for DS, do you like it, or wish you bought a plain frame?
I am looking to purchase one this week...also, if you can recommend one...that would be great! We are looking for a twin!
Thank you!

Great! Thank you...i like that one a lot... do you still need rails? Do you use it with a boxpring, or just a mattress? and last..how old is DC?

Re: If you have a car bed for DS, do you like it, or wish you bought a plain frame?
We had the Little Tikes Twin Race Car beds for both boys. We and they LOVED them. My older son had his from before he was 2 yrs old until he was over 6.5 yrs old and my younger son had his from before 2 and until he was 4. We then had to get bunk beds because DD was coming. If not, they still would have them. They both had the blue one's. I also bought them off of craigslist in excellent condition. One even came with a box spring and only a quarter of the price new and then I turned around and sold them for actually what I paid for them!

I am so glad you posted this, this is the one I am looking at! Did you still ned to put up some kind of a rail, so they didn't fall out, or was it safe without it? Did you have the option of not using a box spring?

I don't know about using it without a box spring. We did use one for both beds. One of the reasons we bought it was because the sides of the bed are high enough (even with a boxspring) so you don't have to worry about them falling out. My kids move so much while they sleep and they never fell out. It's really a great bed and I highly recommend it! They were in that bed at 18 months and 20 months old with absolutely no problems!

Hmmm, thank you for posting! I am wondering if one of these would work to get DS 1 out of my bed and back into his own!!!
