Where do you buy Nursing Bras?
I'm currently wearing size 42D. I was a 42C before I got pregnant.
a) where can I buy a nursing bra or two?
b) what size do I aim for?
I'm assuming I just need one or two to get my by and can always order more, if necessary, once I know what size I will be after the baby?

I got mine on amazon....can save a few bucks that way.
I just went up a cup and chest size, and bought bra extenders too. I've been fine as they do fluctuate throughout the day as I feed and replenish. For what it's worth, I have 4 "daytime" bras and 3 or 4 nighttime ones. For nighttime, I've done fine with some cheap sports bras from KMart.

Don't buy nursing bras while you're pregnant; your boobs are going to change (yes, again) after your milk comes in.
I bought two Medela ones from BRU for my hospital bag. They looked like sports bras. Once my supply regulated itself (at about a month pp) I bought a couple from Kohls online. Motherhood Maternity carries them too.

I bought mine at Target -- about $15ea. I had bought a few before I had DS#1 but then my size increased dramatically after I delivered so I had to buy some more (went from 34B to a 36I). Once my milk supply evened out, I was settled into a 34D nursing bra.
I also like the nursing tanks because they allowed me to lift my shirt to nurse, but my belly was still covered by the tank.

I got the nursing tanks at walmart, they were really cheap and I wear them all the time. I got the bras from JC Penny's and Macy's. The JC Penny's ones are for everyday use, they have better support and the other ones are for around the house use. DS is 11 months old and they are still the only bras I wear every single day unless I happen to get dressed up to go out with DH which is extremely rare lol

i got one at dest maternity and 3 at target. the ladies at dest maternity suggested going up a cup size...i was a C and i bought a D

You're not going to be able to find a big enough one in a maternity store and the ones I've seen in Target are junk for bigger girls. I bought La Leche League and Bravado bras online. They're not cheap but a good bra is worth the money to me!
