OMG... how's THIS for a conversation you never thought you would have!!!
So, DS came home from daycare today saying he was going to puke. He walked in the house holding a bucket under his chin.  He's almost 4 and told DH he didn't feel well. I took his temp and he was around 100.5.
Sat him on the couch to watch cartoons for the rest of the night with some toast.
He just went to go pee pee and comes walking out of the bathroom with his shorts and underwear around his ankles. He is saying something's wrong with his "pee-she". He keeps touching his testicles saying something is wrong.
All of a sudden it dawns on me that because he has a slight temperature, his testicles are hanging down lower than normal because they are trying to get away from his warm body. I ask DH if that sound right and he gives me the "guess I should have thought of that first since I'm the one with balls" look! 
So now I am sitting there while my DH tries to explain the nature of balls to my DS. How they get closer to you when you are cold and drop down when you get hot. 
Gotta love parenting and the unexpected strange, random conversations you end up having!
