Need Breed Suggestions
I am looking for breed suggestions. These are the qualities I am seeking:
-non-shedding
-intelligent
-great with children
-between 15-30 pounds
Any ideas?

I had a Lhasa Apso growing up and I swear she was the BEST dog ever!! Smart, attentive, and great with kids (my parents got her for me when I was about 3 years old). She lived almost 19 years  . You do have to groom them often though since their hair can get long and matted.

My parents have a schnoodle that is all of that but I can't say about kids cause they don't have any little ones around but he is super gentle with everyone else.

If you are willing to do a "mix". Look at cavapoos. Cavalier King Charles mixes with poodles.
My dogs are "gaga" over kids. They are just love kids. They don't bark much. They don't shed. Super smart!

<--- That's Darwin. He's my mini, he's 4 and I absolutely love him.
So smart, had him house broken within a month of getting him home, friendly with everyone, and he doesn't shed. And I have never met a dog with a personality like a mini. He always has DH and I laughing.

Shih tzu!!!
They are smaller than 15 lbs usually but not by much.
My shih tzu loves kids even though she was not "raised" in a house with them. She doesn't shed at all.
Another good dog is a Bison Frise

I have a poodle cocker spaniel mix (as well as a pomeranian) and I would recommend a cockapoo to all families. I love our pom but he does shed WAYYYY too much and has high energy around kids (altho he loves them).
My cockapoo is about 18 lbs and is the sweetest mush ever. soooo playful but a complete mushy lapdog. Very sweet temperament and doesn't shed much at all.
eta: this is a pic of him with our 2 and a half year old niece. When she was a baby she would cry when my pom would be bouncing and barking around by her but goober would just sit next to her and give her puppy eyes and she would allow that  Image Attachment(s):

We have two cockapoos. They are about 20 pounds, dont shed at all, and are the sweetest dogs in the world
