Really like it, very pretty!!!! I'm thinking seafoam and neutrals for our living room. I love how our Daughter, Deb, has a beachy look to all her rooms, and thought I might try it. I'm thinking slipcover sofas/chair, with white cottage tables. Mary

I like it, but for some reason I could never get the right yellow when I tried to do it. Everything was either too lemony or too sherberty if that makes any sense. I went with this color instead - benjamin moore summer harvest

I like the yellow a lot. It gives the room a light and airy look and looks great with white trim. I would just be careful of shades of yellow... you don't want something too "eggy" or something too "baby room-ish."

But I think yellow is a great, versatile color that looks good with darker woods, plus a lot of neutrals (e.g., chocolate brown, charcoal gray, navy, burgundy). It can look very elegant.

I also like the striped fabric. In my formal living room, I have striped fabric for two chairs, and the same fabric on a few throw pillows on the couch. I have a light green color on the walls (BM Par Four), and then my furniture is shades of cream/gold, dark red, and green. I have dark wood furniture and medium toned hardwood floors. I think the stripes make the room "pop" a little and I get a lot of compliments on it.

I love a yellow LR but agree the color can be tricky. I have a very similar sofa. It is the Raymour and Flannigan Westport. My LR is a shade of green. I have paisley wing backed chair which go nice with the stripes. Planning to do dark furniture. Everything has to live in the room for a while before I add anything because I'm trying not to over decorate.
