Sometimes teachers centers in school districts will offer a cohort. Teachers can take courses to achieve a certificate and do it at the school district instead of on the campus of a college. So long as they get enough enrollment, it is good to go. This is what you post made me think of. I know Port Washington has had an admin cohort through Brooklyn College in the past.

I agree with this... and i know they do special ed. and autism speciaity extensions because my district's teacher center has participated in those cohorts at port washington via brookly college.

so essentially, you can only take part in these cohorts if you are a teacher in a district whose teacher centers are offering the program. and yes, it is much cheaper than doing it on your own.,
