Pain during urination

For the past few days I have slight/medium pain when I go to the bathroom. It's just when I start to go and really just when it's a heavy flow.

It' s not a burn, it's more of a pain.

I am not going any more frequently than normal, and it is not a feeling like inhave to and then I don't...so it seems different than a urinary tract infection, you know.

It hasn't gotten worse over the days, but hasn't gone away.

Anyone experience this? I hate taking antibiotics so I don't want to go to the doc unless I have to.

Suggestions?

I'd check it out- it might be a stone, it might be a uti but better to check

with UTI's i get pain after the flow ends not when it starts...

Doesn't sound like a UTI to me and i've had them pretty frequently over the past few years.

Typically the main sign of a UTI is the frequent urge to go w/o anything really coming out. That along some pain during urination and a bloating feeling is gererally the symptoms of a UTI.

My suggestion is to drink an excessive amount of water and maybe cranberry juice to flush your system out. If it doesn't go away by... Wed then I'd go to your doc.

im going to drink lots of water, cut out coffee ( for now ) and take some apple cider vinegar and see how i feel in a few days.

i went to the doc. i do have blood in my urine. he said it seems like om clearing it on my own but gave me antibiotics to be sure. at this point im gladly taking them because it doesnt feel nice
