If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
Is this pregnancy completely different than your 1st?
I am only 5 weeks and am completely exhausted. I never felt this the first time around. I know it's different bc I am chasing around DS now, but I am just completely drained.

Re: If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
My first two pregnancies were very similar but with my third I have been much more nauseous and I have thrown up a lot more. I also have not gained any weight yet (14 weeks) and with my other two I put on a lot of weight in my first trimester. I am sure it will all even out in the end though.

My 2 pregnancies were almost identical and I have a and a on the way....
The only thing different were my cravings.

Re: If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
I feel exhausted like I did with my first pregnancy. But I'm throwing up like I did in my second pregnancy.
My first 2 pregnancies were different. I was more tired overall in my second. And I had insomnia, which I didn't get with my first.
Gained about the same amount of weight for both.

Re: If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
Mine have been pretty different so far. I've been very fortunate in that both have been pretty mild- never threw up with either one or had any extreme symptoms. I had the exhaustion you mentioned in the beginning of this pregnancy, which I never had with my first. I am carrying very different this time and my skin has changed, which never happened last time.

Re: If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
So far it's been very similar. The only difference is that with my 1st pregnancy, I regained some energy in my 2nd trimester but this time around, I'm still as exhausted as I was in my first trimester. I think it probably has more to do with the fact that I'm chasing around a 16 month old but boy am I TIRED!!!!!

Re: If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
With this pregnancy, i did have a few tired days which i never did with ds. But actually this pregnancy is much easier than the 1st (and the 1st was easier).
But i do feel like i'm carrying differently this time around.

Re: If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
There's s mix for me. Some symptoms are the same , some are different.
Things that are different this time around: gaining less weight way less morning sickness WAY more tired this time, but I think it's also because I'm chasing after a 15 month old while pregnant.
Things that are the same: heartburn cramps in legs at night emotional/irritability
I don't know if it's because your body has gone through a pregnancy before that sometimes #2+ seems to be easier/more manageable/you know what to expect, OR if it's a different sex (we're not finding out, nor did we find out for the first).

Re: If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
I think we feel more exhausted bc we can't just take a nap like we could when we were pregnant with DC#1. I was very very tired in the beggining with this prengancy amd I too, didn't remember being that exhausted. Try putting on a movie for your DC and laying down with him to take a quick nap.

Re: If this is your 2nd+ pregnancy...
I don't know where to begin, this pregnancy began hellish and still is with DD i was only nauseous for 2 or 3 hours in early noon and that was it. Very little pain in my legs.
This kid has made me throw up at home and at work With all day nausea. I have alot of groin pain and leg pains every other day.
I am tired and that add also to chasing a 29 month old around. WOrking full time has its moments also considering I am on my feet for 8 straight hours with out a break.
