Developmental Pediatrician Recommendation
Does anyone have a good recommendation?
DS had his well visit and we were talking about his "at risk" ADHD. Dx cannot/will not be given until 5-6, so we have time to wait.
Ped recommended first a neurologist, but then said she thought since we have time a developmental ped would be good, b/c they might look at other behaviors, etc.
She gave us a recommendation in babylon area, but wanted to see who else was out there and experiences as well.

We have appt with one in Mineola in a week but name escapes me. Recommended by pediatrician and EI. Will post tonight when I get home from work and then feedback post-visit next week.

Our appt was actually a pediatric neurologist - Dr. Kharode in Mineola (affiliated with Winthrop). We thought she was good and a straight shooter.

There's one in Babylon/West Islip Dr. Silverman. I have heard good things about her from friends.

Silverman is terrible IMO. Just about everyone I know has had an issue with her
