Re: maternity clothes
probably about 12 weeks when I started incorporating maternity clothes in my wardrobe, but even at 22 weeks, I still manage to use some of my non maternity clothes (but not many!)

Re: maternity clothes
I started wearing maternity jeans at like 10 weeks just because of gross pregnancy bloat. This was also in February. I was still able to wear regular tops for quite some time. I think I started wearing tops around 16 weeks, just cuz I found some cute ones that showed off the belly instead of hiding it! My best investments in the tops department was some basic maternity tanks in black and white. I wore them layered under my regular tops just so the belly palen on my jeans didn't show!

Re: maternity clothes
I started wearing materinty tops around 11 weeks.....my boobs grew really fast.
By 17/18 weeks I was in full maternity wear. I probably could have bought bigger clothes but I wanted clothes that fit properly.

Omg what's wrong with me? I'm only 8 weeks and can't button any of my pants. I'm already using the band.

Re: maternity clothes
I couldn't fit into regular pants by 12 or 13 weeks, even though I'd only gained 3 pounds by that point. I was so bloated! I was using the band or the rubber band trick by 8 weeks.
It was the winter, so I could get away with wearing regular tops (flowy cardigans over my regular shirts) for much longer - maybe until 16 or 18 weeks?

Re: maternity clothes
I would say very early - at least by 8 weeks because of the bloat.. now I see a big difference at 16 weeks - I really need them now.

Re: maternity clothes
Bigger clothes at 8 or 9 weeks since I was so bloated, 12 or 13 wks I needed bigger tops and mat pants that were elastic and low rise. By 16wks I was in full on maternity clothes. It was just more comfy and at that point I started to look pg. Before I just felt like a cow in sheeps clothing

Re: maternity clothes
By 10 or 12 weeks I was in flowy tops and those long cardigans. By 16 weeks, I couldn't hide it anymore!

Re: maternity clothes
I think I needed to wear maternity work pants around 8 to 10 weeks because it was so uncomfortable to button my pants. For shorts and sweats I'm still wearing my regular ones. I'm still not really wearing maternity shirts yet (and I'm 27 weeks).

Re: maternity clothes
Just bought my first maternity clothes today! I'm almost 20 weeks. Been wearing empire waisted long shirts over stretchy pants for a few weeks, was time to get some real clothes! :) 1 pair pants for work, 1 shirt, 1 dress. Love how it shows off my little belly!

Re: maternity clothes
I started wearing maternity jeans at around 15 weeks. I had to start wearing maternity work pants at around 20 or 21 weeks. Probably by 22 weeks I was in all maternity.

I'm only 6 weeks and I have muffin top already
I've been wearing leggings like nobody's business. It's probably not just because of baby though. I got married this past June and I was pretty hardcore with the gym and food up until then and have been verrrry relaxed about both since the wedding.

Re: maternity clothes
with first, around 11 weeks. I wanted to wear them though.
now, I'm about 8-9 weeks with #2 and CANNOT wear most of my dress pants already, so I'm wearing dresses like its nobodys business. The day I tell everyone, I'm opening the bin underneath my bed and rocking maternity clothes again. I want comfortable pants!!!
