How do visiting hours really work at Good Samaritan Hospital?

The brochure says that visiting hours are 10:30am to 12noon and 6:30pm to 8pm. That seems REALLY little! Does that include grandparents and other family?

They have "sibling" visiting hours from 2-5, but the baby doesn't have any siblings, so that doesn't apply.

What about the first day the baby is born? Are they more lenient with people coming to see the baby on Day 1? My c-section is scheduled for early afternoon...

What about the age limits for non-siblings?

We have 3 nephews under 12... are they not allowed in at all?

my kids wer ein nicu so not sure if that effected it but noone was ever kicked out. i had ppl there all day

I delivered there 18 months ago. I had visitors all the time.....they never kicked anyone out. They were actually really cool about it.

I delivered there in May and I had visitors throughout the day. They never kicked anyone out before 8 pm, after 8 they did tell people to leave. My DH was able to stay later though.

There are no visitng hours really... they can come whenever. They are pretty strict on everybody leaving at 8 except fathers though!

They have no age limits. My Niece and nephew (2 and 4) came to visit.

They are so easy going about visitors. As PP have said people are in and out all day
