disney question - weather in oct v. nov
Is there a huge difference weather-wise? We've been at the end of nov., early dec. And in 3 trips had one total washout of a day. Is there a lot of rain in november?

I have been a few times at the end of Sept - beginning of Oct and it was beautiful. It rained usually everyday - but only for like 10-15 min at around 3ish
DH went like 7 years ago at the same time and was caught in the hurricane or tropical storm that was there and was confined to the hotel
I think it might be a hit or miss in Oct until hurricane season ends

It's still pretty HOT in October. I've found November to be much more comfortable.

I went in Oct 09 when DH and I got engaged, and there was a heat wave. It was over 100 degrees every.single.day.
ive also been the week after thanksgiving, and the park is dead. Weather is considerably cooler as well

I went in Oct 09 when DH and I got engaged, and there was a heat wave. It was over 100 degrees every.single.day.

Were you there late October? We went halloween week 2009 and it was HOT, like 95+ degrees every day. We were there 5 days and it only rained for about 10 minutes the whole time.
We went Early Dec 2010 (I think Dec10-15) and it was freezing. Like 30 degrees. It rained for 1 whole day out of 6.
I think both times we just hit extreme heat/cold waves in hte weather. My Ils were there same week in Oct in 2008 and said it was so nice weather wise, really comfortable the whole week they were there, with just a few spot showers that ended quickly.

We are actually going the week of Thanksgiving, so I'm hoping for no extreme weather. But, in case it IS cold, bring your own stretchy gloves! They are $8.00 for a pair of stretchy gloves there!

omg! so funny..we went exact same times..we went oct 09 for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and it was soooooo hot!
and we went back next dec and ur right it was 30 degrees! we had only packed 1 sweatshirt each and dh actually got a cold

I've never been in October, but my cousin is from Miami and in October it was super hot. I have been in November though, and while it was pretty comfortable you couldn't really do the water theme parks because it was too cold for that.

I've been in November - the first week and a half. The weather was really nice, but a little chilly. We never went in the pool at the hotel and avoided splash mountain because it was too cool to walk around wet all day.
