Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
im almost 34 weeks and i havent gotten full BH yet. but my dr did say the cramping can be a type of BH. you can also be dehydrated. make sure you're drinking enough water.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
I get what you describe from time to time but no pattern(at my 24 wk appt my md told me that I could experience cramping and notice a pattern to it), but I don't think I have ever had real BH yet either by the way it is described-like tightness hardness and I'm 35 wks now.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
I don't think I have had BH yet. What I will get from time to time, and it maybe lasts like 30 - 45 sec is a walking cramp in my side.
You know like when you walk or run and you get the cramp like in your side over by your hip???
I'm 33 weeks.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
With DS I never had BH. This time I'm not far enough along to know if I'll have them.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
I think so.
Every now and then, I feel very light cramps - usually when the baby moves. My dr said that makes sense because the uterus contracts when the baby presses against it.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
When I was pregnant, I had very light BH. I never had any real contraction feelings until I went into labor.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
I never got them with DD, but this time I get that AF cramp type feeling too - which I assume are BH contractions.

Sometimes. In my experience they become more noticeable after 36 weeks.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
yep. I am getting A LOT of my pre period symptoms. cramping, er...bathroom issues, stomach aches.
I've also been experiencing bouts of extreme hardness/tightness of my stomach. it will last for a few and then subside. doesn't hurt though.
my lower back and belly cramps do hurt a smidge.
I do get horrendous menstrual cramps though...so I am assuming real labor pains are going to KICK MY ARSE!
I told dh I think my stomach issues and my period symptoms are my body signaling itself to get ready. that's the only thing that makes sense to me.
in fact, I have some cramps now and I've been drinking water all morning.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
I'm 30 weeks and I don't think I've had any full blown BH yet - however my tummy (whole thing) does get very hard for a few minutes (1-2) and then relaxes. It has been happening more often but doesn't hurt. It almost feels like is surfacing and trying to break thru my belly!LOL

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
Yes I get them. Mr. Dr thought it was too early for BH when I mentioned them. They did tell me that you can still experience AF cramps during pregnancy at the time when your AF would be due. I thinks it stretching or my uterus contracting. If it's really bad I take tylenol but as long as it subsides and I have no bleeding with it I assume it's normal.

Re: Oct and Nov Moms- question
Yes, I have experianced this same things since about 31-32 weeks. I was alarmed at first, but now I'm used to it and my doc says it's totally normal
