I'm gonna guess 40-45 minutes between the center of both counties.

15-20 minutes, depending on where you're at.

Nada in Passaic county!! It was raining but it's been off and on....no wind. So weird.

It was cute- I took Riley to swimming lessons this morning and we were running and her hair blew by and she went "THE WIINNNND!!!" And I said, honey, this is NOTHING.Chat Icon

ETA: So funny I said 15-20...I guess I Just remember it taking me about 25 minutes to get to work in Bergen from Morris County when I lived in Parsippany. I live in a weird part of Passaic where I'm pretty much surrounded by Morris & Bergen. I can get anywhere pretty quickly! Chat Icon

Ugh I hate this tornado scare, I have no idea if we'll hear a warning. I wish all of this was happening during the day.Chat Icon so freaking nervous.

Re: Something is starting here in NJ

it really hasn't been bad here yet in my part of Northern NJ. I remember waking around 4:30 to the winds picking up...I wonder if I'm just protected by the mountains around me and the fact that I'm in a newer complex with 'younger' trees.

I just read on the News 12 FB page that Northern NJ still can get hit by Irene. Chat Icon I thought we'd be out of the woods by now.
